Our Story
Ever heard the saying, "When life gives you scraps, make a collection"? Well, that’s exactly how our story began!
Before the world shut down in the pandemic, I was happily interning with a well-known label, soaking up all the industry know-how. Then, well yes—COVID19! I had to leave my job and everything else. But instead of hitting pause, I decided to hit play on my own dream and started my brand in 2020.
Our very first collection was born in the middle of lockdown chaos. I scavenged through textile scraps from old college projects, dug up forgotten fabrics at home, and pieced together a one-of-a-kind collection called “Wearing Waste”. We showcased it at a small flea market, and guess what? It sold out! The love and support we received there fueled our fire.
Then came our second collection, “Prabha Ki Aabha” (you know, that one where we really showed off our creative chops!).

Fast forward to 2023
We opened our first flagship studio in Surat. But we didn’t stop there. We introduced our Upcycle Atelier, where we take your pre-loved branded clothes and give them a fresh lease on life—mending, repairing, re-dyeing—you name it! Today we have over 30+ outfits upcycled and counting. And the best part? No one else in Surat is doing this.

Who we are?
Aabha is a slow and artisanal clothing brand that explores a mix of traditional and modern India. At Aabha, we strive to thoughtfully design everyday luxury clothing pieces that cultivate heritage via time-honoured craft techniques, resources, and artisans of our country.
We're here to stitch stories, not just clothes. To turn old into gold. And to make sustainable fashion fun, fresh, and fabulously.
